ONAKE ABBI FALLS
Onake abbi falls is one of the nearby waterfalls to Agumbe sunset point. 4 Km of trekking from main road of Agumbe is the most exciting part of the journey. As waterfalls about 300-400 meters in height roaring sound can be heard few meters before reach the waterfalls.
One can notice no sign board leading towards onake abbi falls from Shimoga to all the way till Agumbe village. Small Sign boards are seen only after reaching Agumbe check point. There are two ways to reach Onake abbi falls and both the ways trekking is required for last 4 km. Prior to Agumbe check post there is an arch towards right side naming "oushadhi sasya Vana". One has to walk through dense forest to reach the place which has no diversion till Onake abbi falls. Other way is pathway next to the park maintained by Forest department right side of Agumbe check post which has sign board leading towards falls which is 4 km of trekking.
